Know your kitten's rhythm in a week

The Kitten Litter & Feeding Log is a free 12-page printable for the first two weeks home. A short guide to what's normal and when to call the vet, how to set up the litter box and feeding, and a one-page-a-week log for meals, water and litter, so a day that is different stands out.

We'll email the PDF right away, then a few short emails for your first weeks. Unsubscribe any time.

What's inside

What's normal

Hiding, night crying, a day off food: what settles on its own, and the short list that means the vet today.

The setup that prevents problems

Which box, which litter, where it goes, and what and how often to feed, by age.

Two weeks of logs

Meals, water and litter trips on one page a week, a weekly weigh-in, and a page for the firsts.

Why we made this

Kittens are easy. The first two weeks are not.

Most of what you read about a new kitten is a wall of warnings, delivered all at once on the day you are trying to stop a very small animal from climbing the curtains. What a new owner needs in week one is simpler: a place for the box, meals at the same times, a safe room, and a way to tell "settling in" from "call the vet."

This log is that. Two pages on what's normal, then two weeks of boxes to fill in. By the end of the first week you know your kitten's rhythm, and most of the worry goes with it.

The Kitten's First 8 Weeks

The log shows you the rhythm. The plan tells you what to do each week: one room, routine, play and the biting rule, scratching, sleep, the vet, other pets and kids, for the first eight weeks home.
