This policy explains what personal information Attain Brands, LLC dba Everything But The Pet ("we", "us") collects when you use www.everythingbutthepet.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you sign up for a free printable or a waitlist: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
When you buy a guide: your name, email address, country and order details. Payment is handled by our checkout provider, Payhip, and its payment processors. We never see or store your card details.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on our own pages.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for: the free printable, your purchase and your receipt.
To send our emails: short training tips and offers related to what you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.
To answer your questions and handle refunds.
To keep the site secure and working.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising.

Services we use

We rely on a small number of companies to run the site. Each one only gets the information it needs to do its job:

MailerLite stores our email list and sends our emails.
Payhip runs checkout, delivers your download, sends your receipt and collects sales tax. Its checkout uses cookies to work.
Stripe and PayPal process payments for Payhip.
Vercel hosts the website.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

These companies may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we don't email you again. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, by emailing hello@everythingbutthepet.com. Depending on where you live (for example in California, the UK or the EU), you may have further rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Children

Our site and emails are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.
